Francisco Cabrera-Feo is a forth year writing/directing specialist at Florida State's College of Motion Picture Arts. He is a first-generation Venezuelan-American trying to make his immigrant parents proud. He focuses on "slice of life" character-driven stories with radical explorations of vulnerability and empathy. 


His latest film, YUNIOR, premiered at HBO’s New York Latino Film Festival this summer. He was awarded the prestigious "Best Long Form Fiction” Student Emmy by the National Academy of Television & Sciences.  A few years ago, his short REVOLVING CHILD screened at the Toronto International Film Festival Vanguard Awards in partnership with AXE, and in 2016 NBC Latino called him "The New Promise of Latino Cinema."


He is currently working at LA REYNA,

a joint-venture between Robert Rodriguez (El Mariachi, Alita: Battle Angel) and VICE. Where he works as a Creative Producer developing original serialized projects

for New Media Platforms (i.e Facebook, Snapchat.)
