ABOUT FRANCISCO CABRERA - FEO
Francisco Cabrera-Feo is a third year Directing/writing major at Florida State's College of Motion Picture Arts. He is a first generation Venezuelan-American trying to make his immigrant parents proud. He focuses on "slice of life" character-driven stories that ask "who is my character when no one is watching?."
His latest film, YUNIOR, is premiering at HBO’s New York Latino Film Festival this summer. He was awarded the prestigious "Best Long Form Fiction” Student Emmy by the National Academy of Television & Sciences. A few years ago, his short REVOLVING CHILD screened at the Toronto International Film Festival Vanguard Awards in partnership with AXE, and in 2016 NBC Latino called him "The New Promise of Latino Cinema."
